Len Perna is the founder of College Sports Tomorrow and the founder, chairman and CEO of TurnkeyZRG, the sports, media and entertainment executive search division of global talent firm ZRG. Len oversees the sports, entertainment and media team in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. Since 1996, Len and team have successfully placed 1,900+ executives (and coaches) across college sports, pro sports, music, media, sports tech and live entertainment. Since 2021, Len has led major searches for the president of the National Collegiate Athletics Association, commissioners of the Atlantic Coast Conference, Pac-12, Big 12 and Big Ten. Len has placed dozens of pro sports team presidents/CEOs. Len has placed C-level executives at every league office in North America including the National Football League, National Basketball League, National Hockey League (NHL), Major League Baseball (MLB) and Major League Soccer. Prior to founding Turnkey, Len served on the executive committee of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, as well as EVP of business and general counsel. Len previously ran business operations for Ilitch Holdings (MLB’s Detroit Tigers, NHL’s Detroit Red Wings, Fox Theater, etc). Len is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and the University of Michigan.
