Both University of Tennessee alums, Dee and Jimmy Haslam have contributed significantly to the university through endowing professorships and supporting the Haslam Scholars Program, which they co-founded to offer in-depth academic enrichment opportunities for the university’s top students. They have been generous supporters of the Haslam College of Business and University of Tennessee Athletics. Dee and Jimmy are also businesspeople and sports executives. They co-founded Haslam Sports Group, which invests in strategic sports and entertainment opportunities. The company’s portfolio includes ownership of the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League, operating rights to Major League Soccer’s Columbus Crew and co-ownership of the Milwaukee Bucks, as well as investments in HSG Ventures, HSG Facilities and other entities.
